1/2" shank V-point engraving bit with a 60° included angle (30° per side), purpose-designed to reduce cleanup when engraving Color Core and similar two-layer plastics. The larger 1/2" shank diameter provides significantly greater rigidity than 1/4" shank equivalents, reducing deflection and chatter at higher feed rates — which translates directly to cleaner groove walls and less burring on the exposed color layer, minimizing the hand-finishing work required after machining. The 60° included angle is well-matched to medium and large lettering, producing bold V-grooves with high color contrast and well-defined edges. The increased mass also dampens vibration in longer engraving runs, maintaining consistent groove depth across large sign panels. Solid carbide, 2-flute, V-point corner style.
