A solid carbide 1/2" compression router bit that delivers a clean edge on both the top and bottom face in a single pass. The upshear bottom zone lifts and shears the lower veneer or face; the downshear upper zone presses the top surface down as it cuts — the result is zero tearout on either side, which is exactly what you need when routing veneered plywood, melamine, laminate, and finished panel goods. This is the workhorse geometry for cabinet and millwork shops that can't afford tearout on show surfaces. It measures 1-1/2" cut length, 3-1/2" overall length, 1/2" shank.
