Description
When standard carbide isn't enough, the High-Performance grade is. This 3/8" Compression HP router bit uses a premium carbide substrate with a finer grain structure and higher binder content than standard grades, delivering measurably better edge retention, improved wear resistance, and a longer usable tool life in demanding production environments. The compression geometry does what it always does — the upshear bottom zone lifts and shears the lower face cleanly, the downshear upper zone presses the top veneer down, and the result is zero tearout on both surfaces in a single pass. But in a production shop running veneered plywood, melamine, or high-pressure laminate at volume, the HP grade means more parts per tool change and more consistent edge quality over the full run. If you've been burning through standard compression bits and watching edge quality degrade halfway through a tool's life, this is the upgrade. Solid carbide, Made in the USA by Centurion Tools LLC.
